What we’re looking for:
- Lead and review geotechnical investigations, including soil, rock, groundwater, and contamination studies.
- Develop geotechnical design solutions for foundations, deep excavations, retaining structures, ground improvement, tunnels, utilities, and pavements.
- Prepare and review geotechnical design reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations in accordance with international codes (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, ASTM) and UAE authority standards.
- Assess geotechnical risks and propose mitigation strategies suitable for large-scale infrastructure and smart city developments.
- Provide expert input during concept, preliminary, and detailed design stages.
- Coordinate with structural, civil, transportation, utilities, and environmental teams to ensure integrated design outcomes.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to address geotechnical design queries and approvals.
- Support construction-stage services, including site inspections, design clarifications, and technical issue resolution.
- Review contractor submissions, method statements, and temporary works related to geotechnical aspects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)
